Rules
The aim of the game is to correctly predict whether the 'Player' or the 'Bank' will win the game, or if it will end in a tie.
Order of play
The game begins with the bet. There are three options:
Bank wins
Player wins
tie
Staking predominantly Bonus Money on bets, which have a win likelihood of over 90%, breaches the rules.
Once the bet has been placed the game follows a set order of play, which is explained below:
The Player and Bank each receive two cards.
The value of the hand is always the first number before the decimal point (e.g.: 7 for a hand total of 17 and 3 for a hand total of 23). Therefore the total value will always be between 0 and 9. If the Player or Bank has a total value of 8 or 9, the game immediately comes to an end. If neither has a value of 8 or 9, the Player’s cards decide how the game will continue. If the Player’s cards have a value of either 6 or 7, he/she must ‘stand’. Otherwise, he/she must draw a third card (‘hit’).
The Bank’s turn follows. What the Bank does depends on both the total value of the cards and the value of the Player’s third card.
The following options are possible:
if the total value is 7, the Bank stands
if the total value is 6, the Bank hits if the Players third card is a 6 or 7
if the total value is 5, the Bank hits if the Players third card is a 4, 5, 6 or 7
if the total value is 4, the Bank hits if the Players third card is between 2 and 7
if the total value is 3, the Bank hits if the Players third card is not an 8
for a total value of 0, 1 or 2, a card is always drawn.
Once the Bank has taken his/her turn, the game comes to an end and the scores are compared. The winner is the gamer who has the higher total value. If the total values are the same, the game ends in a tie.
Scoring
If a gamer correctly bets on the Player winning, his/her stake is paid out at a ratio of 1:1. The other stakes are lost.
If a gamer correctly bets on the Bank winning, his/her stake is paid out at a ratio of 0.95:1. The other stakes are lost.
If the game ends in a tie and the gamer correctly predicted this, his/her stake is paid out at a ratio of 8:1. The other stakes are not lost in a tied game.
The theoretical return to player for this game is 98.83%.
