DEAL OR NO DEAL CASINO GAME REVIEW

Ever wondered what it’s like to be a participant on Deal or No Deal? You can find out at EnergyCasino! The Deal or No Deal Live Casino game is one of the most popular live game shows from Evolution, presented by professional game show hosts in a vibrant Deal or No Deal studio. Let’s have an in-depth look at the game show and find out how you, too, can get your hands on a snazzy deal!

ABOUT DEAL OR NO DEAL

The Deal or No Deal live show is based on popular TV shows of the same name, originating in the Netherlands and conquering the masses with equally entertaining sister shows in the United Kingdom and the United States. While online casino and real-life Deal or No Deal gameplay differs ever so slightly, the premise is fairly easy to get the hang of. To try out the Deal or No Deal online game, players must first qualify by participating in the timed Qualification round. Then, each player has the option to increase the value of a single briefcase through the Top Up Wheel, after which the real “deal” begins! The hosts will then proceed to eliminate briefcases until only two remain, leaving the player with a choice between two possible payouts. There’s a bit more to it, of course, so read on if you wish to master this awesome Live Casino show!

GAMEPLAY

Deal or No Deal gameplay can be split into three distinct rounds. We’ll go over each round in great detail, to ensure that your very first attempt at playing will be enjoyable and entertaining!

QUALIFICATION ROUND

The Qualification round takes place as soon as one Deal or No Deal game concludes, and is active anytime a round of Deal or No Deal is in progress (to give newcomers, and those who failed to qualify, the time to meet the criteria for the next stage). This round takes the form of a three-reel bank vault wheel, segmented into silver and gold segments. To qualify for the Top Up stage, players must align all three gold segments beneath the arrow in the centre of the wheel. Think of it like spinning a pseudo Deal or No Deal slot machine with an advantage — you can actually increase the likelihood of matching the three tiers simply by increasing your bet through the ‘+/-’ buttons, found directly below the vault wheel. Normal difficulty comes at a spin cost of €0.10 (or currency equivalent), Easy at €0.30, and Very Easy at €0.90.

There are 16 active briefcases in the game; cases 1-8 are on the left of the screen and cases 9-16 are on the right. When the Qualification stage is active, players can choose one of 16 briefcases as the designated biggest-prize briefcase. Each spin on the vault wheel will contribute 75-100x of the bet to the value of the briefcase. Keep in mind that this briefcase will be in play during the main game later on, but the number you select does not impact the likelihood of winning as all outcomes are random. If you fail to select one of the briefcases during Qualification, the 16th case will be selected automatically.

TOP UP WHEEL

Once you qualify by unlocking the sealed vault, you will have a chance to enjoy a few more spins, this time on the Top Up wheel. Participating in this stage is entirely optional, and doing so is simply another opportunity to increase the value of the briefcase you’ve selected in the previous stage. Similar to the vault spins, wagers during the Top Up will increase the value of the briefcase, only this time by 5-50x the bet. To increase or decrease the wager, press the ‘+/-’ buttons and hit ‘TOP UP’ to spin the wheel. This phase will only last as long as there is time left before the next round of Deal or No Deal begins. Should you be one of the players who qualify at the last minute, you may not be able to use this feature.

MAIN GAME SHOW — DEAL OR NO DEAL?

The main event takes place in a live game show studio with two hosts and the Banker. One of the hosts is responsible for revealing the contents of each briefcase, the main Deal or No Deal host guides the gameplay, and the Banker remains unseen for the duration of the entire game.

The main game is split into five mini-games, during which the cases get gradually eliminated. After each set of eliminations, the Banker will present a deal: accept the Banker’s monetary offer and leave the game, or continue playing for a chance to snatch one of the briefcases. The value of each briefcase will always be displayed within the game window; however, you will not be able to tell which of the briefcases in the studio corresponds to the numbers on your screen.

During the first of the mini-games, one of the hosts will open three briefcases. Each one will display a number, 1-16, and the opened briefcases are eliminated from play. After the first three are revealed, the player is presented with a Deal or No Deal offer from the mysterious Banker. Should the player select ‘No Deal’, then the show continues. Choose ‘Deal’ to credit the proposed deal to your balance and start over at the Qualification stage.

The second, third and fourth stages operate the same way. Four cases will be revealed on the second, four on the third and three on the fourth. This leaves just two briefcases on the line in the final round of Deal or No Deal. The final round presents the player with two closed briefcases, and the player is offered three options: to accept a final offer from the Banker, reveal the cases as is or to switch the two around and reveal the prize.

BONUSES AND SPECIAL FEATURES IN DEAL OR NO DEAL

Unfortunately, there are no bonus features in the Deal or No Deal game show. The structure of the Deal or No Deal does not lend itself to bonuses like free games. Since Deal or no Deal is a live game show and not a slots game, you will not find any free Deal or No Deal spins on the vault wheel. The only bonus-like advantages in Deal or No Deal are the ability to influence the value of a briefcase and to increase your odds of qualifying during the first two stages of the game.

The theoretical Deal or No Deal RTP is 95.42%.

THE VERDICT

Overall, Deal or No Deal stays surprisingly faithful to its TV counterparts. The essence of the game is captured quite well and participation is fairly intuitive. The hosts are as professional and energetic as ever, making every moment of gameplay memorable and highly entertaining. Although Deal or No Deal is a game of chance, much like all casino games, players can adopt certain strategies to increase the likelihood of profiting (in some cases, that might mean simply cutting your losses at the right time).

GAME RULES

  • Qualify for the Deal or No Deal game by lining up three golden segments during the Qualification stage. The amount of money in the biggest-prize briefcase can be increased by anywhere from 75-100x of the player’s bet in this stage. The amount of money spent during this stage will significantly increase the value of your chosen briefcase.
  • Top up your chosen briefcase with Deal or No Deal real money bets during the Top Up stage. Each spin contributes 5-50x the amount of your bet to the briefcase. This stage is entirely optional! In short, the bet value of each spin sets the amount in the briefcase through a randomly applied multiplier.
  • The values listed on each briefcase can only be seen on the user interface and not in the live studio. The contents of each briefcase are a mystery to the players!
  • When the show begins, the hosts will gradually open each briefcase to reveal its corresponding number and monetary value. These briefcases will be eliminated, meaning that their contents can no longer be won. After each stage, players are presented with a choice to accept a cash offer from the Banker, or to reject it and move on to the next stage. Select ‘No Deal’ to move to the next stage or hit ‘Deal’ to accept the Banker’s offer and conclude the session.
  • During the final stage the player is presented with three options: accept the Banker’s final deal, reject the offer and reveal the final briefcases or switch the contents of the two remaining briefcases and proceed to open them.

FAQ

WHAT IS THE DEAL OR NO DEAL GAME?

Deal or No Deal is based on a TV show of the same name, where players try to predict which briefcases will remain in play in an attempt to increase their winnings and win the briefcase of the highest value. As with roulette, blackjack and other Live Casino games, Deal or No Deal is also based entirely on chance. Players cannot influence the outcome of the rounds; only timing and luck will have any impact on the results.

HOW TO WIN IN DEAL OR NO DEAL?

Winning in games of chance can never be guaranteed; however, players can decide when to stop and take the win (the deal) in time. For example, if you see that the remaining five briefcases have values of €0.01, €0.02, €0.10, €0.50 and €0.80, it may be wise to accept the Banker’s offer of €0.73! You can try your luck and wait for the final offer, but in most cases accepting an earlier deal is far more lucrative.

CAN YOU PLAY DEAL OR NO DEAL ONLINE FOR REAL MONEY?

Yes. As long as you have registered a casino account, made the first deposit, and your deposit funds have been credited, then you can proceed to play this live show with real money. IS THERE AN ACTUAL BANKER ON DEAL OR NO DEAL?
